Before I can post Christmas pictures...

Here are a TON of catch-up posts full of pictures from the last couple of months...

Christmas pics will come soon!

OSU v OU Game

The OSU v OU game was the Saturday after Thanksgiving... since some of our friends were in town we decided to have a watch party out at my parents house with our friends AND their families.  We all got to hang out with our families while getting to hang out with eachother too.  It was a lot of fun!!!

Of course I wish the game hand ended up a little differently... but hey... we can't get EVERYTHING we want!  The fun with friends was worth it!  AND we just decided to do other things rather than watch the game!

And off we go...

Nancy Laura and Jill

At one point we realized we didn't know where any of the boys were... we found them by the dam at the shooting range my dad has set up on his property.  Eventually almost the entire party ended up down there... A true Oklahoma party... shootin guns!  (And for the record... this is pretty out-of-the-ordinary... never had a get-together and done this)  :-)

Had such a great time!

We should make it a yearly tradition!

Thanksgiving

We had Thanksgiving this year out at my parents' house with both my family and Drew's family.  They didn't have any relatives coming in to town so my parents invited them to join us.  My aunt K and my sister cooked the entire meal and it was delicious!!!!!!

Before we went out to my parents we had breakfast at Drew's parents' house... Drew's grandma wasn't up to getting out for the day so we just had a quick breakfast at their house so we could see her, too.

Playing with the decorations on Drew's parents' front porch

Going to see more pumpkins with Papa

They had a bunch of small pumpkins that they had thrown in their bushes after Halloween... hoping to maybe grow some pumpkins by next year.  Papa showed Pierson where they were and he had a ball playing with them!!

Oh don't let this innocent face fool you    :-)

Drew and I's dads checking out the gun... my dad has a 'target' right off the front porch so he can practice shooting right there...

Checking out Pops' phone

Teaching Pierson the OSU Waving song...

And I don't remember what they were doing here... but this pic makes me laugh :-)

Wish I had taken more pictures but I guess I was just soaking up time with my sister in town and hanging out with the fam!  So thankful for our amazing families!!!  We are so blessed!!!

1/2 Marathon 1/2 Marathon

The weekend before Thanksgiving I ran the Route 66 1/2 marathon... 13.1 miles!  It was my second 1/2 marathon (first one was in OKC back in April) and I don't think I'll ever do MORE than a 1/2... but I do think I'll do more 1/2's.  Here are some pics from the race...

My running group... we run during our lunch hour and also on the weekends
Shauna - Stephanie - Cindy - Shannon - Nikki - Amy - Kyla - Misty - Me

Before the race

Stephanie - Shauna - Misty - Me

We just roped Stephanie into running over the past few months and haven't quite convinced her to run a 1/2 YET... but she ran the 5k at the event and did awesome!  The finish line for the 5k was actually along the 1/2 marathon route and Misty and I ended up seeing her right as she was finishing.... couldn't have planned it better if we'd tried!  Nikki is expecting so she didn't run the 1/2 this time, either, and instead ran the 5k with Steph.  They were our cheerleaders during the run and also took some pics along the way...

Me Nikki and Shauna at the start line waiting for the race to start

Mile 6
Misty and I ran the entire race together!

Mile 11 - we were excited to see people we knew!

Mile 11 again...

Mile 13... almost there!

This was what the finish line looked like... everyone cheering in all the runners!

Drew and Pierson also came down to the race to cheer me on... I was soooo excited to see them when I crossed the finish line!!!
