Week 44 - LOTS of pics!

Enjoying another biter biscuit!

Pierson's daycare celebrated Thanksgiving this week and invited all the parents up to join the kiddos for Thanksgiving lunch. Pierson liked the mashed potatoes, did NOT like the stuffing (he spit it right out), and LOVED this role. Instead of tearing off small pieces we just decided to give him the whole thing and it was too funny watching him eat it.

Pierson is cruising along EVERYTHING! The couches, chairs, baskets, and even the wall. When he walks along the wall he likes to hit it a bunch and laugh :-) Silly boy!

Pierson hasn’t always known the best way to get down once he's walking along something. He used to kind of just fall back onto his bootie. Now he’s started bending over and putting one hand on the ground, then the other, and before he takes off across the floor he holds a little football “Hike” position… it’s too cute!

Pierson and I went to visit GoGo at her store. I wouldn’t normally bring my busy little boy into a store like hers… but she’s just so sweet and lets Pierson play with so many things! He LOVES going in there! Here they are playing with Christmas bells… he thought it was so fun to shake and hear them jingle!

On Saturday Drew’s parents and sister came over for the OSU game. It was so fun to hang out and chat! And a bonus… another big W for the Pokes! Go Cowboys!

On Sunday it was a beautiful day so Pierson and I went on a walk/jog around the neighborhood. I would run really fast and then slow down really fast and Pierson would just crack up! He kicked his legs and chatted the whole time… it was so funny!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Mike

We wanted to wish Grandpa Mike (Drew's dad) a very happy birthday!! Pierson loves his grandpa Mike so much and he's so lucky to have such a wonderful grandpa! He can't wait for all the fun things his grandpa is going to teach him over the years to come! We love you and happy birthday!

Week 43

(11/3 - 11/9)

Last weekend our friends Shane and Christina and their two kiddos came over to watch the OSU game. Pierson had so much fun playing with and watching Bella and Jax! And Christina and I had fun catching up!!Jax Pierson and Bella

My parents gave Pierson some Gerber "Biter Biscuits" and they are the MESSIEST things in the world but Pierson absolutely LOVES them! He will sit in his high chair and chomp on them for forever. Of course he goes straight to the bathtub afterwards because he's so messy. Here are a few pics of him eating away at one:

We were in the kitchen the other day and Pierson was playing in the tupperware drawer. He loves to open and close drawers! I don't know what it is about his feet in this pic... but I just LOVE it!!

And playing at his table... he's growing up way to fast!!!

This weekend we didn't do a ton. We got in a lot of good Pierson time! And then on Saturday night our friends Brent and Micheala came over for the OSU game. It was a Bummer that we didn't beat Tech!! But at least the only teams we've lost to so far are ranked 1 and 2 :-)

Week 42

(10/27 - 11/2)

Our little monkey for his first halloween!

For Halloween we just dressed Pierson up and took him by to see both sets of grandparents... when we were seeing Drew's parent's they were at some friends house and they gave him this banana... he kept hitting it on the floor. It was too cute!

Drew bought us 2 pumpkins to carve together. I don't think I've ever really carved a pumpkin (that I can remember at least) It was a lot of fun... we were cracking ourselves up!

My pumpkin is the one on the right... Drew says I scare him with the knife... so I stuck to the most simple design I could think of :-)

Some other pics from the week!

Pierson has really started clapping a lot and it's too cute! He's also started giving 5's... sort of :-) We stick our hand out and say "gimme 5" and he hits it... several times :-)

He has also started cruising around the furniture quite a bit. At first he'd only move along the couch if he wanted to get to a toy or the remote... but now he's constantly moving along the couch, love seat, chair, and even across the laundry basket or anything else he can get to. He's getting more brave by the day... we've definitely got to keep an extra close eye on him :-)

He loves his bath time! I wash him first in his little infant tub, and then stick him in the big tub to play some and he just loves it.
