My parents had their second annual kite flying contest at their house a few weekends ago. They invite a bunch of friends out to fly kites, eat, and hang out. They give away really funny awards and it's just a really fun time. This year, however, I could only go for about an hour and a half because I had something else I had to do... but Drew and Pierson stayed and hung out. I took several pictures while I was there... but my mom took a bunch after I left, too. She got some super cute ones by the pond that you'll see below...
Sarah was in town with her 2 cute kiddos Van (1 year older than Pierson) and Emma (1 year younger than Pierson)... all 3 born in January! Pierson and Van had a ball playing together all afternoon/evening.

The reason I couldn't stay is because I had a prior commitment. One of my best friends, Britney, owns THREE dance studios! One of her studios is in my town and the recital was that evening. Nancy and I took pictures of all the dancers rehearsing for the past month and then did the video taping for the recital. I was super impressed with all the dances... Britney is one talented little instructor!! I won't post any of the pictures of the girls... but here's a fun one I can show :-) The dance was called "Shoes!"
And I just realized I don't have any fun Kite pictures... I guess that will have to wait until next year :-)
