Back in January Drew, Pierson, and I headed down to Dallas for the weekend to stay with my sister. We left on a thursday after work and stayed through Sunday afternoon. Christi and I did some shopping on Friday afternoon while Pierson napped and Drew hung out at her house. Christi got a Boxer puppy (Dillon) just before Christmas and Pierson loved him!

On Saturday we got to go to the Dallas Market with Drew's parents' for Drew's mom's store. I just am so amazed at market every time I go. There's 12 or 13 floors with TONS of stores on every floor... it's amazing!!! I got a bunch of new jewelry while we were there.
Christi watched Pierson for us while we were at Market. She was afraid he would be upset when we left... however when we got back to her house he was crying for Christi when she went to let her dog outside... he didn't want HER to leave. He just loves his aunt Christi!!
Saturday night my sister, Drew, Pierson, and I met Drew's parents and Kelly and Courtney for dinner. This was Pierson pouring SALT into Mike's drink... he's so good and patient with Pierson and just laughs at his silliness. P-man was pretty entertaining!
Back at my sisters Pierson discovered her electric keyboard and loved making noise... uhhh... I mean Music... on it!
Little Musician!
My friend Andee shares the same birthday as Pierson... January 13th! She turned 30 this year and had a really fun party in t-town. We were in the same sorority in college and she ALWAYS made me laugh! She's such a sweet, fun friend and I love that we still keep in touch! We actually go to dinner with a group of girls from our house every month or so.

My mom stops by at least once a week to see the little man... he gets so excited when she opens the door and runs and yells "Mimi!" Then she looks and asks where Pops is (if they're not together)... he does the same if my dad stops by without my mom... he likes them together :-) hahaha
Big Boy Bed
When we originally looked at baby furniture when I was pregnant with the little man we decided we wanted a convertible crib... What a great idea that was :-) Pierson learned to climb out of his crib... I would hear a big thud on the flood and then hear him yelling for me. We were affraid he was going to get hurt so we got the conversion kit that converted the bed from a crib to a toddler bed. We took off the front part of the crib and replaced it with a much shorter one that only goes half way the length of the bed. Pierson was soooooo excited when he saw it... he ran and jumped right in telling us it was HIS bed! The first night we put him down to bed and said goodnight and walked out of the room and he got out and came to the door with a big smile on his face... WELL I wanted to try to teach him that once he got in bed he needed to go to sleep and not get out of bed so I spanked him and told him to not get out of bed again until morning. It upset him and I put him back and bed and assured him I loved him but he needed to stay in bed.... He hasn't gotten out of it since.... and that was over a month ago!!! We were so worried about the transition and drug our feet a little making the change... it was so easy! He's done awesome! And loves climbing in bed all by himself! He's such a great sleeper I was worried that would change but he's just done great!
