Pierson the golfer

Every time Drew heads to the golf course Pierson asks if he can go with him.  This past weekend Drew decided to take Pierson up to the course to hit some golf balls and Pierson was thrilled!  Drew's dad and my dad went together last Christmas and bought him a set of real golf clubs so of course Pierson had to bring those... and I went along simply to take pictures :-)

A visit from cousins

Drew's cousin Chance and his wife, Sarah, came to town last weekend.  They have 3 kiddos (Maddelyn-6, Brandon-4, and Hayden-4 months) and it was so fun to get the kdidos all together for a swim.  Chance's sister, Whitney, and his mom were also in town.  It was so fun to see them all!!

Member Guest weekend (July)

Member guest was the middle of July and Drew invited one of his best friends, Nick, to come up and play with him.  Nick is married to one of my best friends, Jill, so they both came up for the weekend and we had a wonderful time!!!  The boys even placed in their flight!

I took pictures of all the teams playing in the tournament all day Friday so before Drew teed off he brought Pierson up to the course for breakfast and to come see me.  He even dressed them in their matching shorts!  Too cute!

Jill, Pierson, and I met the boys up at the club for lunch after they played on Saturday.  Jill had the idea of taking Pierson to the duck pond afterwards to feed the ducks.  Man are those ducks CRAZY!  We started out on one side of the pond and there were literally hundreds of geese that came swarming towards us.... it was crazy!  We had to grab Pierson and jump in the car to get away from them.  We drove to the other side of the pond and it was much better... although all the geese eventually started heading that way... we had plenty of time to escape that time :-)

We had a great weekend with Nick and Jill!!  The boys did great at golf and Jill and I had tons of fun chatting and catching up!  Saturday night was the formal dinner but we forgot to take pictures before we went out!

A few weekends ago Drew was playing golf with some of his friends and Pierson and I went up and watched them for the last couple of holes.  Pierson wanted to ride with Drew once we met up with them so he switched to their cart :-)

Random July Pics

Pierson loves to put on his own clothes... he often needs a little help or direction... but likes to do it none-the-less!  I had a laundry basket full of his clean clothes sitting in the living room waiting to be folded and he decided to dump out the basket and put as many of the clothes on as he could... it was hilarious!

And these are just the clothes that you can see... he had another pair of shorts and more underwear under those green shorts!

We always use hooded towels after getting out of the bath but apparently he hasn't really looked at himself with the towel on... he saw himself and was cracking up!

Spaghetti Time!

One day I picked up Pierson early from school and the kids had just gotten done eating spaghetti and were all walking around the classroom in oversized adult t-shirts.  What a great idea!  They put those on them when they eat spaghetti and then don't have to worry about it getting all over their clothes.  We have since turned a few of Drew's old undershirts into "spaghetti shirts."  They catch anything that falls in his lap and his regular clothes stay clean :-)
