We are using Pierson's baby room for Karsten and we turned the guest bedroom into Pierson's new room. We had my grandma's old furniture in there, and while I loved the furniture it wasn't sturdy enough for a 2 year old boy :-) Since we'll no longer have a guest bedroom we decided we didn't want a twin bed... and for some reason we thought a queen size bed was a good idea. After seeing how tiny he looked in it we started to 2nd guess ourselves... but he absolutely LOVES it so it's just perfect! We kept the door shut to the room the entire time we were decorating the room so it would be a total surprise for Pierson... I was worried about what he'd think about having to give up his room to Karsten and move to a new room so I wanted to make a big deal of it. We got the room totally decorated and ready to go and then did a big "reveal" to Pierson... he was so excited! I was in the room with a video camera and Drew went and got him and brought him in... it was really cute :-)
Well here it is...
We did a sports theme... the sheets are baseball... and there's every other sport all around the room, too.

Drew made (and painted) the big P before Pierson was born and we never ended up haging it in his baby room... but it's perfect in his new room!

He just loves his new room and bed... and now mommy and daddy can fit in his bed to ream him his books at night and he just loves that :-)
