Pierson and his golf clubs

We got Pierson his first set up golf clubs a few weeks ago. Although Drew wanted to get him the REAL set of miniature clubs that they have for sale in the pro shop... we opted for the $5 plastic set from WalMart. It's a good thing... he broke his first one in a matter of about 15 minutes. And it was quite the process teaching him to only swing at golf balls... and NOT to swing at furniture, people, dogs, etc... We are doing so much better now... I think it helped seeing Drew play with his golf clubs! We Pierson and I met Drew at the golf course for the back 9 one afternoon. Pierson had a ball watching Drew and following him around as he made his shots...

Heading up to the tee box...

And heading to the green...

He knew to grab the ball out of the hole after Drew made it in... luckily he didn't grab it before then :-)

Getting pointers from dad :-)

Heading back to the golf cart... this golf stuff is tough!

Thanks Drew for letting us join you.. we always have so much fun!

Kiddie Park

A few weekends ago we went to dinner with our friends Chris and Jennifer and their sweet little man Cole. After dinner we headed to the Kiddie Park for some fun! We had never taken Pierson there before and he definitely had a great time!

The first ride that Pierson and Cole rode was the Cars!
Check out my ride, y'all!

Cole in his car!

Pierson having a blast!

Next we headed over to the horse and buggie ride... it was hysterical watching them ride together.
Jennifer and Drew buckling the boys in

Next Jennifer and I rode the Merry-go-round with Cole and Pierson while Chris and Drew watched and took pictures

And then Jennifer and I rode the mini roller coaster with the boys... aside from being semi-jerky it was great fun for the boys!

The last ride of the night was the airplane ride...

We had the boys in planes that faced one another... I think they both loved going up in the air... and trying to spot us as they went by each time... it was too cute!

We had so much fun!! And Cole ever taught Pierson how to "pound" or give knuckles! It was too cute! I wonder if they ever give knuckles when they see each other at school??? :-)

Water Table

Since Pierson spends so much time outside we decided to get him a little outside activity table... it has sand on one side and water on the other...

This was the day we got it... Pierson was watching Drew fill it with sand so intently!

Of course drinking out of the train car is a must!

And this... ummm... is gross! Shadow and Pierson drinking out of the same place! Only a boy would do this... and my little man... is 100% boy! :-)

And the water hose... that just add a whole other level of fun!

And he always ends up in just a diaper... having to get hosed down before we head back inside!

Chalk

As a kid I always loved drawing on the sidewalk with chalk... so I bought a big box of sidewalk chalk for the little man and he went to town...

Notice he's drawing with one but holding several others... he just wouldn't let them go :-)

And when he was all done his hiney was COVERED in chalk! It just cracked me up!

Melissa Mize Pics

My good friend Melissa started a photography business several months ago... when she first let us know about her new business we had just scheduled Pierson's 1 year pictures with another friend of mine so I asked if she could take some family pictures for us when it got a little warmer. After several rainy days caused us to reschedule we were finally able to meet in Tulsa for some pictures. She is a GREAT photographer and did a great job snapping pictures while we tried to get a VERY busy VERY mobile toddler to pose for pictures :-) She did a great job capturing just where we are in our life right now... loving life with a fun, energetic little guy! Check out her website here!

I love this pic! Pierson loves the "One, Two, Threeeeeeee" game!

We brought Pierson's stuffed monkey in hopes it would help keep his attention... he was trying to be silly!

And a lot of time was spent doing THIS! There was just too much to look at and explore :-)

Thanks Melissa!

Swim Lessons

Pierson took swim lessons 2 days a week the whole month of June... we went to the pool at my work and there were about 15 or so kiddos in the AquaTots class. Pierson was a little nervous the first few minutes of the first few classes... but before long he was super comfortable and just loved going each Tuesday and Thursday! Drew and I switched off getting in the water with him and I must say we had a great time, too!

Practicing his kicking... with some help from daddy!

We were supposed to try to teach them how to get OUT of the pool on their own... Pierson did a pretty darn good job!

But his favorite was jumping back in afterwards!

We swam with the noodles one day.. he was practicing blowing bubbles and kicking his feet

Misty and Will

Bo and Amy

Christen & William and Me & Pman... Christen and her husband have twin boys... she and her husband both did the lessons with the boys... I just can't imagine having twins... and she just makes it look so easy! They're just super cute, too!

Melanie & Sawyer, Me & Pierson, Misty & Will

Misty & Will and Pierson and Me...
Now if only we could get the boys to pay attention to the camera :-)

After lessons Pierson LOVED to go out the doors and run to the fountain! Our little guy is a water fanatic so the fountains are so intriguing to him!
