Week 22

(6/09 - 6/15)

Monday of this week marked my 5 year anniversary at work... I cannot believe I've been out of college for 5 years! Looking back it's gone by pretty fast... but along the way it seemed to be taking forever :-) At least I get more vacation now :-) hahaha

Thursday night I went to dinner with my friend Christina, while Drew took Pierson to her house and had dinner with her husband and hung out with their 2 kids. Their little boy asked Drew where he got Pierson and Drew didn't know what to say to he said "at the hospital." The next day I got an e-mail from Christina telling me that Jax (their 3 year old) told her that she needed to go to the hospital that day. When she asked him why he told her "to get two babies, one boy and one girl, just like Pierson" I thought that was the cutest story!!! I can't wait for Pierson to say fun things like that!

This weekend we didn't do a whole lot... just hung out together and with our little man... and Drew played some golf both day! And today, of course, we celebrated Drew's first Father's day... We had our parents and Drew's sister over for lunch(my mom had to miss as she was in the City with my grandpa). After lunch Drew went to play golf with his dad. Pierson and I were supposed to go meet them and ride in the golf cart on the back 9, but it was just way too hot! But I think Drew had a good 1st father's day :-)

Apparently he thought I was being funny :-)

And Saturday he was playing on his activity mat and was fighting sleep and he kept falling asleep and then waking up and grabbing at the toys, and then falling back asleep, and waking back up and grabbing at his toys. I was the cutest thing! (Don't worry... I picked him up and put him in his bed after I took this picture) :-)
