Week 34

(9/1 - 9/7)

This week started perfectly… with a day off work for Labor Day! I got to spend the whole day with Pierson and it was so much fun… as always!!! We also tried out a new pediatrician for Pierson this week and we have decided to switch. His old pediatrician was a great doctor and was really good with Pierson, but I think I’ve said before… I just needed a little more from him. The new doctor is a general doctor, but he did his residency in pediatrics and also has 3 small children (the youngest only about 2 weeks older than Pierson). He came in and talked with Drew and I for about 30 minutes and gave us so much information and just seemed very knowledgeable and very nice… we are so excited!!On Friday night we went over to our friends Brent and Micheala’s for dinner and hanging out. We ended up getting out the Wii Fit and played that… it was hysterical. I’d never played it before and I WAS AWFUL!!! We played a game where you try to head-butt soccer balls and pretty sure I got the lowest score of us all… but… in my defense I did go first :-) Saturday I went to a baby shower for a friend of mine. She’s also have a boy and it was so fun to see all the cute stuff that she got. It was also so crazy to think that it wasn’t that long ago when I had my showers and Pierson was just born… it has gone by so fast and yet seems so long ago!!!Sunday we went to Drew’s parents’ house for dinner with his family and his grandma. It was delicious and fun to hang out!
