Week 45 (11/17 - 11/23)

Well it’s been a while since I’ve updated… I don’t know where the time has gone! Here is the update from the 45th week (wow… 45 weeks!!!!). Well on Mondays our friends Britney and Ryan are in town so they came over on Monday night. They ended up staying well past midnight and even though it was a work night it was so much fun hanging out! We always have so much fun when they’re in town! And since Tuesday was my birthday Drew even let me open one of my presents when they were still there because it was after midnight so it was officially my birthday (he NEVER lets me open early so I was super excited). Drew and Pierson got me this big “thing” that is a decoration for the wall in between our living room and kitchen… I LOVE it! They also got my a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet! I’ve been getting into photoshop and digital scrapbooking and so this will really help when editing! It’s so neat! It’s basically a mouse that you hold like a pen… it’s awesome! I also got a new video camera from my parents! It's soooooo neat! It's for Drew and I's birthday and Christmas presents... and I've already taken tons of video! I just sit there and play the videos back after Pierson goes to bed and I just crack up!

My sister sent these balloons to me at work and thought that Pierson would enjoy them too when I brought them home… He had so much fun with them!!!

My friend Micheala sent me these flowers, too. They’re beautiful!! I can’t wait to reuse the vase at Christmas time!

Well on Friday I took off work and Pierson and I just hung out all day… I love those days! He is just so much fun to be around and his little personality is constantly making me laugh!

One of his new favorite things is standing at the back door or window and banging on it. He loves to watch the dogs outside and holler at them when he sees them run through the yard.

He must just like hitting glass... because he's discovered my china cabinet and likes to bang on it too :-)

Earlier this week his teacher told us that he pushed this little chair around the room with him several times. Well on Friday when we were hanging out he tried to do the same thing with our kitchen table chair. It was so funny because the chair is so much bigger than he is and he just pulled it behind him as he walked around the table. I didn't get a pic but I did get video... I'll have to post it another time when I get it downloaded from my video camera.


On Saturday morning Drew got up really early and headed out to my parents’ to go hunting. He ended up shooting a buck so Pierson and I drove out there to congratulate him and hang out with my parents while they got the deer “ready.”

And leaving my parents this is what I had to drive behind before Drew turned off to go to the meat market... GROSS! His eyes were still open so it looked like that deer was just staring at me!! Ugh!

Saturday night Drew’s parents babysat Pierson for us. Drew and I had tickets to the Vintage O-State wine tasting and auction. We headed to Tulsa to the event and we didn’t really know anyone else there (an acquaintance and a friend’s parents) and I’m not a big fan of wine and we weren’t really bidding on anything and they didn’t have a dinner… so… after an hour we decided that since we were dressed up and had a sitter we would go have a good dinner. We headed to PF Changs and had so much fun just hanging out and chatting.

Sunday I started getting sick so we just lounged around all day.
