Easter 2009

We had a fabulous Easter with family! It's been a few weeks so I'll try to remember all I was going to write :-)  On Friday I was off work so my parents, Pierson, and I headed to Tulsa to run some errands.  My sister was driving up for the weekend so she met us for lunch in T-town.  On Saturday Drew, Pierson, and I went to my parents' house to hang out for the day...

My sister got Pierson this tunnel for Easter... he wasn't too sure about crawling through it at first, but definitely had fun looking through it to see who was at the other end :-)

And of course he always has fun playing with this toy at my parents' house!

My parents got a new puppy - Lefty - so Pierson had a great time following him around and playing with him.  Lefty joins their other dog, Poncho! They're both such sweet dogs!

Pierson enjoyed swinging on the swingset out there!

My parents and sister also stuffed a bunch of camouflage eggs with Cheerios, Gerber cookies, and gold fish. Pierson had fun hunting the eggs... but his very favorite was breaking them open.  Once he figured out that there were treats inside the eggs and discovered that if he dropped them on the ground they would break open he started throwing down all the eggs on the ground to break them open... it was hilarious!!
Hunting Camo eggs outside!

Being cute holding an egg!

This is Pierson's favorite toy at my parents' house... it's a fire truck that makes noise and plays music and he LOVES to press all the buttons over and over and over again!

Loving the fire truck!

Probably getting sick of me taking his picture... I think I took over 100 that weekend!

My sister and me! She's the BEST sister and we have so much fun every time she comes to town!! (We miss you bunches Aunt Christi!!)

On Sunday we went to church with Drew's parents... before the kiddo's went to their classrooms Pierson was sitting in the pew with us and we gave him Easter eggs to keep him quiet... he threw a few eggs on the floor (probably trying to get more gold fish out of them) and a few rolled to the rows in front of us... we decided to just leave them there... and keep our kiddo under a little more control :-) hahaha  After church we went to Drew's parents' house for Easter lunch with both Drew's family and my family.  It was delicious!!! (as always!)

Drew's mom always decorates the table so beautifully! It seems like every occasion she has a new way to decorate/set the table and it's always so pretty!

Here's Pierson's Easter basket full of the eggs/toys that Drew and I got him.  He LOVES slinkies so we included quite a few of those :-)

This is Pierson's favorite toy at Drew's parents' house.  The tractor also has a little "trailer" that follows behind and he just loves to push it around and is learning to ride on it, too.

Checking out an Easter Egg :-)

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter with your families.  We're so thankful for what Jesus did for all of us!
