The first Saturday of December was the First Annual Jingle Bell for Basal Cells run. The run was held in honor of our friends Christen and Kevin's son William. Christen and William both suffer from Basal Cell Carcinoma Nevus Syndrome and the run was to show support for this amazing family and raise awareness for BCCNS. I had the privilege of serving on the committee to organize the race. We had a great group of girls working on it and I thought it turned out perfectly! We had around 300 runners and raised so much more any of us ever imagined to donate to the BCCNS org! Here are some pictures from the event...
Christen and sweet little William!
Here was the poster that was put up all over town to advertise for the race... I actually created it!
My good friends (and running pals) Misty and Stephanie both ran the race... and did awesome I might add!

The runners heading to the start line
Since it was before Christmas we encouraged people to dress up... there were several santa hats, fun tights/socks, and even some elves and reindeer. These 5 guys were hilarious... the 4 runners up front pulled the guy dressed as Santa... I couldn't quit laughing!
William is actually a twin to this cute little guy, Patrick! Here is Patrick and his daddy Kevin.
Ty... our friends Brandon and Amy's little guy... he's so cute!

We even had a Santa for all the kiddos to share what they wanted for Christmas and had a photographer taking their pictures. My friend Misty's husband, Brian, was actually our Santa!
It was a great event! Can't wait for the race again in 2010!
