Week 15

It's so hard to believe he's already 15 weeks! I feel like I say that every week... but it's just going by so fast! Pierson had a good week... on Monday (the 21st) he laughed for the first time! It was sooooo cute and soooo exciting! When I pick him up after work we usually beat Drew home by a few minutes and when Drew walks in the door Pierson gets really excited and smiles at Drew really big... it's super cute! Well we were playing with him and he was smiling a bunch and then I tickled under his neck and he laughed! It was so fun! But he hasn't done it again for me... bummer! :-) I try to go visit Pierson at lunch when I can and last week I went every single day! (Probably because my lunch partner, Megan, was out of town all week... she ran in the Boston Marathon! And did awesome I might add!!!) Anyway, he wasn't even asleep any of the days (like he is sometimes) so I think it helped make the week go by extra fast :-) Saturday my parents had a Kite Flying Contest out at their house with a bunch of their friends. Drew, Pierson, and I went and had a really good time. Poor little Pierson started getting a cold on Saturday and the poor little guy's eyes turned so red! And he sneezed a bunch and was coughing a lot... it was so sad! He was sick all day Sunday! We did manage to get some cute pictures from the week though :-)

Pierson has really started grabbing for things and even picking them up and bringing them to his mouth... here he is with his chew ring that gets chilled in the refrigerator first.

Look at his poor little red eyes :-( So sad! (We got him this little chair this weekend and it was so fun to watch him try to stabilize himself while sitting up... more of these to come next week!)
