The P Family: Weekend in Kansas City

A few weekends ago we headed to Kansas City for the weekend with a group of our friends. Britney's husband, Ryan, has played baseball in the minor leagues for the past several years and he's always on a team that is too far to go watch a game. This summer he's playing for the Kansas City T-Bones so we planed a weekend to all go visit. It was such a fun weekend!! We went to his games on Friday night and Saturday night and he played so well! He's leading the entire league in home runs and hit one while we were all there to see! It was really exciting!

All the little kids lined the fence waiting to get Ryan's autograph... they swarmed him after the game, too. Of course, so did all of us :-) Hahaha

We were a pretty loud cheering section at the games. The 2nd night we even made these signs (on the back of some posters Jill had in her car) and waved them while cheering extra loud!

My parents watched Pierson while we were in KC. We missed him soooo much!!! But they were so good about sending lots and lots of picture updates to my phone throughout the weekend. (Like him playing in the water puddles, riding his fire engine, swinging on the swingset, eating good food, and having a great time!) When we got home I went to pick him up and when I pulled in the driveway he was outside walking with my parents. I got out of the car and he reached for him right away and just laid his sweet little head on my should for the LONGEST TIME!!!! This little boy is so busy these days he NEVER sits still and just snuggles anymore... but he sure did when I picked him up. My parents were taking pictures, we were talking, and even walked inside and sat on the couch and he just kept his precious little head on my shoulder the entire time! I LOVED it!!!
