We celebrated Easter with our families a day early this year. Drew's parents left on Easter day to head down to Houston for Drew's dad's treatment... his dad was gone about 7 weeks and his mom traveled back and forth each week. We wanted to see them before they left so we had a little Easter breakfast at our house the day before. After breakfast we hid Easter eggs for Pierson around the living room. It was a little cold outside so we just decided to stay inside this year. We're so blessed to have our families close by and be able to see them so much! And we're so thankful for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

My parents brought over some eggs, too, and one of them was a talking egg. Once you hid it and turned it on every little bit it would say things like "I'm hiding!" "Come find me" "I'm over here." I hid it in the couch cushions and Pierson could hear it but it took him a while to figure out what it was and where it was. It was hilarious! We've spent a lot of time since then hiding the egg around the house and finding it!
