Week 25

(6/30 - 7/6)

So I got 2 days off work for the 4th of July so I had another short work week and another long weekend with my little man! So fun! Pierson is getting more and more of a personality each week and he's just so much fun!

Here are a few pictures of some new things he's doing:

Last Friday Pierson discovered his toes for the first time... and this week he just can't keep his hands off of them. He LOVEs them! Thinks they're the coolest things since.... well since he discovered his hands :-)

Pierson is also starting to sit up on his own... he's had pretty good balance when we sit him up on the couch and also when he sits in his little chair... so we decided to sit him on the floor and see how he did... he did great! Of course he still tumbles to the side some... but he's getting really good at it.

My Aunt Edna gave him this toy when we went down to her house this weekend and he is facinated by it... it moves and makes noises and he just loves it!

Pierson is also finally really enjoying eating his rice cereal and veggies... Of course he makes quite a mess sometimes.... but it's so fun! (I love this pic by the way)

And of course it's so funny to see his mess when he's all done eating carrots!

Chillin in the chair in his room!

So occasionally Pierson falls asleep during his last bottle and we can't wake him up to burp him afterwards for anything. He's a total ragdoll and it's so funny. Here he is in Drew's lap limp as a noodle.

And he fell asleep with his little teddy bear in his arms the other day and it was just too precious!

Playing with the dolphin on his activity table... he loves to spin it.

Pierson made his first trip to the golf course... with as much as his daddy just loves golf he's sure to see this place many, many, many more times. Drew and Homer played 18 holes while Pierson and I just came out and rode around on the golf cart for the first 9 holes. Pierson liked riding on the cart and he even brought Drew and Homer good luck :-)

Me and Pierson on the golf course

Thanks Homer and Drew for letting us tag along :-)

On Saturday we had some friends over for a cookout. Pierson's friend, Cole, came with his parent's Jennifer and Chris. These two get to see eachother almost every day and I have a feeling they're going to grow up to be GREAT friends!
