A BIG THANK YOU to my friend April!

My good friend April had a little girl almost a month after Pierson was born. It was really fun during our pregnancies to talk and compare what we were going through and it has been so neat to share the experience of motherhood with one another! Well I was telling her that I was a tad bit frustrated with our pediatritian... don't get me wrong I think he's a great doctor... but sometimes I think I need a little more than the average patient/mom :-) In talking with other friends that live in bigger cities I hear things that their doctor's say or do and think... hmmmm I'm not sure if doctors in this town provide that much info/help/guidance/etc... Some people like it that way... while I think I would like a pediatrician to give me a little more guidance in certain areas. I'm new at this mom thing and I don't always know the best way to do things. Anyway~ so I e-mailed April about a month ago with a HUGE list of questions... just asking how she did certain things and what things worked better and what things her doctor had suggested, etc... Well she called me back and we ended up talking for about an hour and she gave me all sorts of tips and things that worked for them. I've been taking what she said and implementing things into our routine with Pierson and it has made a WORLD of difference. Beforehand I had Pierson on a semi-routine... if you can call it that... and since then I have him on a pretty strict routine that seems to be working great for him. He's sleeping better/longer and eating his big boy food (rice cereal and veggies) so much better. There are just so many things that I took away from the conversation that have been so helpful... I feel like I owe sweet little April a GREAT BIG THANK YOU!!!!

Thanks a bunch little momma! It's been so fun going through this experience together! I'm so blessed by your friendship! I can't wait to share all the fun things that are to come! And maybe one day my sweet little man can take your sweet little Ella on a date :-) Love ya girl!
