Pierson started getting a cough over the weekend and then it gradually got worse. I had to leave work early and go pick up Pierson on Monday because he was running a fever. Drew stayed home with him on Tuesday and he felt much better… I think they had fun playing all day. When I got home from work Drew was showing me all the things that Pierson could do after a day with his dad… it was too cute! Pierson hasn’t run a fever since Monday, but he sure has one heck of a cough still… and since you can’t give a child under the age of 2 any cold medicine he’s just been suffering through it… poor guy! He’s quite the trooper though… he sounds terrible but doesn’t seem too bothered by it… I think it bothers me to hear him wheeze more than it bothers him :-)
My sister came to town on Friday… her flight got in around 1 and she and my dad picked up Pierson from daycare when she got to town. We love it when she comes to town!! We hung out Friday evening and had dinner, then Saturday Christi, Pierson, and I did some shopping then watched the OSU game with all the fam in the afternoon. Our Pokes didn’t beat Texas… but we played a darn good game! We went out and hung out with Christi this morning then her flight left this afternoon… we can’t wait for Thanksgiving to see her again!!!
My sweet little boy!!
1st of all - He did NOT like the grass
And 2nd - he has started through tantrums! Are you kidding me?? He's 9 months old! I am NOT ready for this phase! Hopefully this is just a short phase! He clinches his fists and screams SO loud! It's actually kind of funny... well at least it was the first couple of times!
Laughing at Pops! He can make a popping noise with his cheeks and Pierson thinks it's hilarious!
Playing with drawers at Mimi and Pops' house... he has a fascination of opening and closing drawers... we have GOT to childproof our house!!!
My cousin Gary and his wife’s little boy, Max, is 5 and they have passed on a lot of his clothes to Pierson. This weekend Gary brought up 2 containers full of clothes that are Pierson’s size right now! They are PERFECT! He’s got a whole new wardrobe of fall/winter clothes! And some of the pants are a little long so we’ve even got growing room! Thanks Gary and Kim!!!!
These are a pair of the pants from Max... aren't they cute!?

I'm seriously lovin that pic in the grass!!!
He is just too cute! I know you are just having so much fun with him right now. This age was one of my favorite stages. I am so sorry he was sick. That is not fun.
Looks like all your girls had a good time together. That is so neat that you all do that together.
I had so much fun this weekend! I can't wait to come back for Thanksgiving. I love you guys!!!!
What a cutie...my how he is growing up. You think his tantrums are bad now...wait until the terrible-two-tantrums hit.
I love Pierson's jersey! I can't imagine that happy boy throwing a tantrum! Tell him not to teach Cole! :) My guy has been sick off and on too--ear infections, then a cold this weekend. I feel like just the minute he gets well he gets sick again with something. Guess it's a daycare thing?
