So week 48 was almost a month ago from when I'm writing this (yes... I'm WAY behind on updating this thing) so I'm sure I'll forget stuff... but hopefully I'm not forgetting anything too significant... after all I take a million pictures a day so I can usually remember what went on that day :-)
Well on Monday of that week I was taking a video of Pierson and when I was about to stop recording I said "Okay, Pierson I'm going to get off of here, say bye bye." I was totally not expecting him to say it because he never had before... well he turned and looked at my right as I was turning off the camera and said "bye bye." I thought it was a total fluke/coincidence and laughed when I told Drew what happened. Well on Wednesday when I dropped Pierson off at the daycare in the morning I gave him kisses and was saying "bye bye" when I left. Aparently right after the door closed the teacher said Pierson said it back to me. She told Drew the next morning when he was dropping him off and so Drew said it to him and Pierson said it right back. It was so fun! So ever since then he's been saying it back to us and it's so cute! Well here are some pics from the week:

Pierson has decided he loves climbing the stairs... he's so fast (especially when Bruiser is at the top of the stairs waiting for him). He hasn't quite figured out how to slide down feet first on his belly... but we're working on it.
He has also decided he doesn't like to sit still in the bathtub... SCARY! I have such a hard time getting him to sit there... he wants to crawl around or, even worse, stand! I am on my toes the whole time! I'm trying to teach him that we only sit in the tub... but I don't know that he's quite gotten it yet :-)

After his baths I put him in a hooded towel and wrap him up and he is the best little snuggle bug!! EVERY TIME! I guess it's warm that way but I just LOVE it!
I've mentioned before how much he loves to push things around the house... well here's an example... on Saturday he pushed the laundry basket ALL OVER the house for about an hour... it was hilarious... he went through the kitchen, living room, dining room, etc... and just had a ball!
He would push it for a little bit
And then take some of his clothes out... then put them back in the basket
Then push it some more!
Later he decided to push the empty diaper box around the house :-)
