Wednesday was New Years Eve… Drew and I both had to work that day so we stayed in town for the evening. Pierson stayed the night with my parents so we didn’t have to pick him up after midnight. My parents had told us last new years that they wanted to watch Pierson this new years… so we had a babysitter before he was even born :-) When we got there they had toys everywhere! Every couch had 2 or 3 toys set out on them, and so did the coffee table and end tables. He had so much fun! (too bad I forgot to take pictures before I left) :-( Drew and I went to our friend’s Brent and Micheala’s for the evening… they had a “Pink” party… so we all had to wear pink… I think Drew took the cake in that area…. I just wore pink scrubs and a pink scarf… Drew, however, bought some white jeans and a white shirt and dyed them pink (himself, I might add)… he look like he was covered in pepto bismal! Seriously! We had a good time and lots of laughs from the evening! We woke up and picked Pierson up by 9 or so… I was ready to see him!!!
Some pics from the Pink Party:

Saturday was Drew and I’s 5 year anniversary… couldn’t believe it’s been that long!!! Drew woke up and fixed us Belgium waffles… Drew even fixed Pierson his own mini one :-) that night Drew’s parents watched Pierson for us and we went out to dinner and then to a movie. We saw the movie Fire Proof… it was really good!!!

Sunday Pierson got his FIRST TOOTH… Yes, you read that right… he’s almost a year old and JUST got his first tooth! The other day Drew said “okay, when do we start worrying about him not having any teeth yet?” I assured him that he was fine… and that I read about someone in my US Weekly that week whose 13 month old daughter just got her first tooth… so we were good :-) AND I keep hearing that the later they come in the stronger they are… so maybe he’ll have really healthy, strong teeth! Anyway~ his first tooth broke through and the second one is just about through… when it rains it pours! :-)
I'm sure most of you know that Drew is the cook in the family... not me! He's such a good cook and, lucky for me, he enjoys it! On Sunday he made home-made pasta... it was delicious!!!! We got the pasta maker for a wedding gift... and we figured after 5 years it was time to use it :-)
